What coronary angiography involves?
Coronary angiography is the reference standard for confirming coronary artery disease. A thin catheter is passed to the heart, contrast dye is injected, and live X-ray imaging shows exactly where each artery is narrowed and by how much. Dr. Gaikwad performs the study through the radial (wrist) route wherever possible so patients can sit up and walk sooner.
